Jensen & Miles SARL ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Luxembourg, operates the K3SD dashboard software and the website at k3sd.jensenmiles-labs.lu (the "Service").

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Website Analytics

We use analytics tools on our marketing website to understand visitor behavior. This may include:

Pages visited and time spent
Referral source
Browser type and device information
Approximate geographic location (country/region level)

We do not use this data to personally identify visitors. We do not sell or share analytics data with third parties.

1.2 License Telemetry (Optional)

K3SD Pro and Enterprise installations may send a daily ping to our licensing server. This ping contains:

License key identifier (hashed)
K3SD version
Number of monitored nodes (aggregate count only)

This ping is optional and can be fully disabled by setting K3SD_OFFLINE=true. No cluster data, pod names, namespaces, metrics, or secrets are ever transmitted.

1.3 Dashboard Software

The K3SD dashboard runs entirely on-premises within your Kubernetes cluster. All monitoring data (metrics, events, logs, security scans) stays within your infrastructure. We have no access to your cluster data.

2. Data Storage

Website analytics data is stored on servers within the European Union. License telemetry data is retained for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

3. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Data portability
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

4. Cookies

Our website may use strictly necessary cookies for functionality. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent. The K3SD dashboard application does not use tracking cookies.

5. Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Analytics data is processed by our chosen analytics provider under a data processing agreement compliant with GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
